  1. Had a VERY brief rain shower that didn't even register in my gauge. Radar doesn't look at all impressive for the rest of the night, either. The high for the day was 89.2 degrees.
  2. The Black Eyed Susans in my landscape bed are wilting...
  3. I see no victory in daytime highs in the 60's this time of year.
  4. We here in the Skook kind of snuck into the marginal category for storms today...barely.
  5. W in the actual F??? That's crazy, and I really hope it doesn't happen. It's wrong on way too many levels...
  6. Why does it seem like every "summer" holiday is either rainy, cold, or both? Cookouts, swimming, and fireworks always seem to be ruined or in jeopardy.
  7. I thought Hippa applied as far as anyone goes regarding about health status and procedures. I know you work in rescue so I trust what you say. If I'm wrong, I stand corrected. As for the weather, it's gonna be another warm one today...
  8. They are not...at the moment. Everything starts somewhere, though. Did you see Harris' Tweet where she said, "get the vaccine or wear a mask until you do"? That right there is a (perhaps not so) veiled threat that either you get the vaccine, or you wear a mask forever, or until you give in and get it.
  9. I would mind. It goes against HIPPA laws and smacks of a totalitarian tactic. Not unlike the communist and nazi countries and their "show me your papers" routines, especially during WWII. That is not how a free society should act, and it's something our forefathers would be quite angry about... In weather news, 88.7F in my backyard today, so officially one short of 90 degrees.
  10. We had not one drop of rain in Tamaqua today...
  11. Virga is going good in Tamaqua. Per the current radar it should be raining here.
  12. Everytime you talk about shorts and zoom calls, I think of that Maxwell House commercial...lol
  13. Saw a spattering of frost this morning (36 degrees) in some outlying areas just before sunrise.
  14. I'm ok with the 70's. The 90's are good for a swimming day, but that's it. 50's in May is too cold, though...
  15. 33.6 when I left the house this morning with a good deal of frost once I left town and got out into the rural areas.
  16. Agreed, but I could do with fewer lows in the 30's in the morning.
  17. January to December seems to be our new March anymore...
  18. 34.7 here. No doubt some of the colder, rural areas had some frost this morning.
