  1. Yup. As long as it doesn't move, it should stay clean despite the rain...
  2. I washed the tractor trailer today. Wheels and tank are shining nice and pretty, and it should stay that way as it'll be parked until Monday... hopefully.
  3. I know. At this point in time it's just funnin' around. That's why the laughing emoji at the end...
  4. Oh, and we had a couple of snow showers in Tamaqua last night. I did see the warmth for Wednesday. CTP had 74 for my backyard in this morning's forecast.
  5. I did mine on Saturday and again this afternoon. Had I waited for the weekend, I'd have had to raise the blades or I'd have cut more off than what is generally accepted turf practice.
  6. And I did just that when I got home from work. The fertilizer I put down a week and a half ago kicked in and it needed it...
  7. I'm not sure why it says "hot" when this thread gets active, because it only gets active if it's cold and/or snowing... Anyway, just prior to FROPA, it was almost 70 in the Fogelsville/Trexlertown area when I was unloading at my customer. By the time I got back to the well to reload (a half hour away) it was down to 54 and is now 52 ten minutes later.
  8. As I said, each night a degree colder on the forecast... Wednesday Night Partly cloudy, with a low around 28 As for the other "issues". To those who responded, thanks!
  9. Wow...all the way down to Texas and Oklahoma...
  10. Each new evening forecast cycle lowers my overnight low for Thursday morning by a degree. Now it's 29. Getting frustrated, and the weather is just adding insult to injury as far as life and my outlook on current circumstances is concerned...
  11. I haven't planted anything yet, but our perennials are established already. Bleeding Hearts are about 10 inches high and the Black Eyed Susans are growing. Tulips are ready to pop open. Ma Nature has 'em going good so far.
  12. I'm not liking the forecast low of 30 Wednesday night/Thursday morning. I hate dropping below freezing after established growth/greenup has taken place.
  13. You guys and your snow... This was on I-81 by Minersville this morning.
  14. Thanks! I didn't even realize it. If I did, I would have made it more ceremonious...lol
  15. And I froze today in a sweatshirt and spring jacket... Not....lol
  16. All of this, and if we had anything in Tamaqua, I slept through it. I did hear some heavy rain at some point, but perhaps the convection was gone by that time???
  17. It rained to some extent (drizzle after about 11am) all day here. Got 0.92" in the bucket as of this post. I just hope it wasn't too much for the fertilizer/crabgrass preventer I put down yesterday.
  18. IF it snows up here, I'm going tell my cop friends to run you right out of town... Just kidding. Of course, you are all most welcome. I'd even introduce you to a great restaurant (I'm not buying though) at the train station.
  19. I was 14 years old at the time, living in Bethlehem, and still loved snow, so it was an awesome event for sure. I remember the cold (single digit lows?) that followed, but I don't remember the wind. Wasn't that opening day of baseball season and all the east coast games were postponed?
  20. I guess maybe I deserve this, but still...THAT'S NOT NICE...
  21. Yes, it's been really nice here as well. Since my shoulder surgery I've had to put coats and jackets on left arm first, which is unnatural and awkward for me. It's nice to be able to get out of the truck to load and unload and not fight my coat sleeves a half dozen times a shift...lol
  22. This board is starting to depress me...
