  1. 0.47" as of 7:45am. I'm in Tower City right now loading, and rain is light to moderate at times. I guess I'll see how the day progresses.
  2. I figured that stretch of road was prone to flooding. Not much elevation above or real estate between the road and the creek. I have to go through there 5 times tomorrow. Two up loaded and three back empty. Usually it's only three runs through there, but my last load which always goes to Allentown will be coming from Tower City instead of Hazleton.
  3. I think I'm on the southern and eastern edge of it. I'm doing my Thursday Tower City to Sunbury tomorrow. I'll have to give Pillow reports. Just wondering how fast that little creek south of town along 225 rises during heavy events. And of more concern is 147 up between Mandata and Herndon.
  4. At the moment, I'm liking where I sit. I'm actually off on Thursday for an MRI, so I won't be trying to find new routes to Sunbury, unless there is residual flooding and debris on Friday morning.
  5. I hope you are both wrong. I want an epic event for once...
  6. Just like winter. Hook you in and give you hope and then, boom. Fringe job. Let's hope, as in winter, they trend back north...
  7. See...even the NWS gets it. Look how they painted the 4-6 inch gradient AROUND Schuylkill County. There is ALWAYS a dip in qpf here.. Somehow, my location always ends up getting the shaft...
  8. Thanks. Looks like it's going to be a wild ride for some/most of PA from this one.
  9. I don't have off hour Euro access. What's the qpf look like for central and eastern PA?
  10. With the qpf totals were talking about, you think there was a SECS coming in. 3-5, 5-7, etc...lol
  11. Haha...that's funny! I had to go back and look. When I replied to his post I was on my phone, and the app doesn't show peoples locations. I'm now on the home PC which does.
  12. Really? Are you serious? Major hurricanes have been occurring since well before fossil fuels were being burned. This isn't the thread for climate change discussion. Especially a post this ludicrous.
  13. And yet, my point&click forecast for Wednesday went from rain likely, heavy at times, this morning, to showers likely with no mention of heavy this evening. .
  14. I hope so. If that map does verify, I'm sure I'm going to have an interesting ride from Tower City through Pillow and up to Sunbury Thursday morning.
  15. I can't seem to get it to load or open on my computer.
  16. They are the summer version of a winter storm when one might have impacts on our area. At least for me, anyway. Like winter, I'm looking at the globals, and then the mesos every cycle checking track, qpf, wind potential, etc. And of course looking and hoping to be the ever elusive bullseye...lol
  17. A classic case of being careful of what you wish for. A few weeks ago, many were begging for rain because it was so dry and lawns were turning brown. Now look... I guess none of us is really ever happy with the current weather we get, myself included. It's always too hot, too cold, too wet, too dry, etc...
  18. 73 was my high. Socked in with a very heavy overcast all day. I did manage to get 0.58" from that surprise shower this morning, though.
