  1. But where? Area wide, or localized to the LSV, Mason-Dixon Line, Lancaster area, etc.
  2. Need to get that Harrisburg cluster up to Tamaqua before it fades into oblivion... I don't like the look of future radar, though.
  3. We got something before I got home from work because I had 0.44" in the gauge.
  4. Up until March when I started this Tower City to Sunbury water haul, I had never even heard of Pillow. Now I'm through there seven times per week...lol. It actually looks nice and peaceful. I think I'd rather live there than Tamaqua.
  5. As I get older, I get more and more nostalgic. I kind of miss the 3 H summer days of my youth...
  6. I've been swing and a miss for two days now. Need some t-storm love for the Skook...

  8. Some new tornado warnings up that way in the past few minutes. Montgomery/Pennsdale area I believe...
  9. This is what it's like here right now at 3:30pm.
  10. We are still solid overcast and even fog on the top of the Blue Mountain on 309. We need to clear, and fast, for anything significant to happen later, but I'm not feeling it for areas east of 81 and south of 80 right now.
  11. I didn't see much wind damage out there, or in the Danville/Berwick area in my travels today.
  12. So I ended up with 0.88" for last night's event. This after an inch and a half on Friday. Whatever we get today will fall on saturated ground so flash flooding I guess will be a concern later today and tonight.
  13. That's part of my route tomorrow morning as well. If I see any damage, I'll let you know.
  14. We got the goods...sort of. I believe the line weakened some at it got here as there was a continuous lightning/thunder event to my west, but as it neared, the lightning became more infrequent. We never (to this point anyway) got the instantaneous flash/boom that I so desperately crave. Wind toped out at 12.5 mph, and so far, with the heaviest rain east of me already, got 0.67" as of this post. On to the next one some other day I suppose... ***edited to add that the radar looked really good as it passed through, but it didn't seem to correlate with ground truth***
  15. Current movement and future radar loops don't look super promising for me. It appears that anything that holds together scoots by to my north and northwest. Hazleton might get it pretty good though. If that's the case, I'll once again be on the outside looking in...
  16. I'll be going through there tomorrow morning. We'll see whats what then I guess. It's a nice little town, so I hope no damage.
  17. That's one sweet ride! I had always wanted a Buick Grand National. I always thought they were much cooler than a Monte Carlo SS. I got nothing this morning...
  18. We had a decent rainer come through town right when we were leaving for dinner. Got 1.46" out of it in about 45 minutes, and had to wait it out in the Jeep.
  19. They might be all summer. Saturday we're busy with our oldest grandson, though. He made the Schuylkill County baseball all star team and has two games. One at 8am and one at 1pm.
  20. They might be running steam all summer. And I love the steam engine and would certainly ride the train. Saturday we're busy with our oldest grandson, though. He made the Schuylkill County baseball all star team and has two games. One at 8am and one at 1pm.
