It looks like a nice heavy band is going to set up JUST north of me (go figure)...
Current and future radar give the Poconos and Hazleton to Scranton a good dousing for the next few hours. Meanwhile, here in my backyard, the rain is so light it's not even registering a rate. I've had 3/100 of an inch since my 8:15am report.
I was just going to post this. The HRRR has been pretty consistent with bringing Henri into Eastern PA. I'd get 5-6 inches of rain out of it if it verified as depicted.
Oh boy. You bet it would! it would also make for an interesting ride from Tamaqua to Tower City to Sunbury Monday morning. Perhaps a soggy, wet Pillow?
Can I wish that TS west with a stall over New Jersey. I need some excitement in my life, and listening to Judas Priest break the law ain't cuttin' it...
We finally got the rain. 2.43" as I type this. Wind and lightning have pretty much been non-existent, though. Some distant flashes and low rumbles, but that's it
Interesting that the NWS has EXTENDED the Tornado Watch until 11:00pm. Not too often that happens around here...
Flood Warning here as well. I only got 1.25" so far, but reports out of New Ringgold, southwest of me, are over 4 inches.
Hey guys, please give me a heads up on any damage out that way. I have my Tower City to Sunbury run tomorrow. I use 209 to either Elizabethville and up 225 through Pillow, or Crosscut out of Loyalton up to Pillow.
