  1. Haha...true. Just look at last Memorial Day. Coldest I've ever experienced.
  2. Yes. Minor events are annoying. I'd much rather get an 8-10 storm over two weeks worth of 1-2 inch events. The roads are an absolute salt mess right now. The wife and I went out to dinner last night, and Penndot spread so much salt that the dry road was whiter than where snow had blown and drifted across. I couldn't even see the lane markings. Being that it was night when we came home, if it weren't for some wet margin areas, I wouldn't know what was dry salt and what was snow.
  3. Me too. It's just too cold. I don't mind seasonal cold, but when I have to wear a half load of laundry (layers) to work, it's just too much.
  4. Less than one month to go and then, meteorological spring!!!
  5. They sure did. This is a wind and snow Public Info Statement. Lots of 20+ inch totals and one 30 inch total. Highest wind gust was 81 mph in West Dennis out on Cape Cod... https://forecast.weather.gov/product.php?site=box&issuedby=BOX&product=PNS

  7. Ugh. While I love historic snowstorms, the clean up I do not. Congrats on a great storm, but seeing as a leaf blower was the extent of my snow removal this morning, I'm now kind of glad I didn't get more...
  8. I had one more sub-zero day than you? I never would have thought. Here were my three so far... 1/16 @ -1.5 1/22 @ -4.4 1/27 @ -0.8
  9. Check out this Mass Pike traffic cam from just west of Boston near Framingham...
  10. Temp is 12.6 this morning with light snow. Eyeballing it looks like about a half inch maybe. We got more from yesterday mornings frontal passage...
  11. For your bolded, I give you this. It's up in my neck of the woods, but something to consider. As a bonus, you get to ride through Tamaqua...lol
  12. I can verify this...lol Back down at Tower City for load #2. You should go to Pillow and wave as I drive by...
  13. Tower City. Snow with about a quarter inch already...
  14. It appears that Mike Trout is a weenie and a snow lover...lol
  15. I do actually love the term "mood flakes", because every time there are flakes, I get in a mood...
  16. I do (about an inch or so) but I'm ready for a thaw to get rid of it. Too much ice mixed in with it from the freezing rain events. My wife almost fell a few times. I did notice that Lancaster had no snow this morning.
  17. Yay, a half inch to an inch and a half. Just enough to keep shitting up the roads and make a sloppy mess. It's not worth it, and I'd rather just stay high and dry...
