  1. Hey, I went through Danville about 3pm... Anyway, as best as I could figure, no one north of 78 or east of the Susquehanna got anything. Even snowy Hazleton had bare grass.
  2. I don't even have to open the thread to know when the models show nothing good. If there's no hot topic badge, it means they're crap.
  3. Roads just wet from Tower City to Sunbury. Even the grassy areas aren't white. Some shady gravel driveways had a coating, but otherwise no "stickage" at all in travels.
  4. Some flurries starting right now in Tower City. Let's see how this Sunbury ride goes.
  5. 32 at my house, 34 in Tower City, and 31 here in Sunbury.
  6. 49.6 was my high for today, which, strangely, occurred at 12:58am.
  7. Some said they saw lightning and heard thunder. If I can figure out a way to share my wife's cousin's video from last night in Weatherly (Carbon County) she showed a pretty heavy burst of snow when she recorded it.
  8. According to multiple Facebook reports, the snow last night included lightning and thunder. Folks in Shenandoah, Frackville, and Girardville claimed to have seen and/or heard it.
  9. Ugh...and I have to do three Tower City to Sunbury loads (usually only do two per day) to make up for the missed ones this week. If we get any kind of accumulating snow, it's going to make for a long ass day for me...
  10. Thanks! It looks nice for Christmas, but it should have come one day later. At least my daughter (she was a Christmas Eve baby) has a white birthday... The view from my back bedroom (office) window.
  11. Got about a half inch of snow overnight. Everything, including the street, is covered.
  12. I'm not native. I was born and raised in Bethlehem, but as far as I know, Skook is a duel definition. Like, "oh, he's from the Skook", or "he's a Skook". I just call 'em all coalcrackers...lol
  13. I believe it was, as well as a quick drop below freezing. 309 was just wet from Tamaqua south to the 443 Leiby Restaurant intersection, and from there on, it was a sheet of ice.
  14. No. We must have gotten a bit of light rain from that southern storm.
  15. Pillows actually in Dauphin County. Skook is our slang for Schuylkill.
  16. What a morning, and I'm still sitting in the Jeep waiting to get going. This was my post on Facebook a while ago... Folks in the Skook, be VERY careful this morning on the roads. 309 south of Leibys is an icy mess, and there's an accident at the 443 Lehighton cutoff. There's also a car down an embankment on 895 going to Andreas per my co-worker. I'm sitting it out with about a dozen other cars and trucks by Central Spring right now after fishtailing it all over the place in the Jeep.
  17. I can't speak for all, but from what I've seen, it seems that the each of the seasons are all delayed by a month or so.
  18. It was 43 here today as well. The low bottomed out at 17.6F this morning, which was considerably lower than CTP's forecast of 25F.
