  1. without seeing it, that would be my guess. With all the rain we have had, I would be surprised if someones lawn didn't have it red thread is more orange than red, and it can show as brown/light brown initiailaly.
  2. hmmm, where have I heard that before?
  3. it's 55 and drizzling out. shorts and a t-shirt would be OK unless you are going to be spending any length of time outside. It is downright chilly.
  4. 1.5” yesterday, 1” so far today on the bright side, I haven’t even turned on my sprinklers yet this year
  5. We bang loudly and frequently. unlike prom night.
  6. next one behind it looks to do the same thing a bit further south
  7. keep on reading, you will find which posters are more accurate than others
  8. hopefully next year I will have the $$ saved for the mini split install. the big window one in the living room is getting awfully heavy for my old ass to be hauling down from the attic every spring
  9. go cuddle up with it and take a nap.
  10. I just finished mowing my lawn. In jeans and a sweatshirt. Sounds perfect for June 1
  11. you are the single most disingenuous poster here. You were around 70 for what, an hour or 2 this afternoon? There was nothing nice about today. I hit 68 for an hour or 2, otherwise it hasn’t stopped raining. Up to 1.5” spent some time at an outdoor wedding in your neck of the woods, near the NBill T stop. It was chilly and windy, but not a lot of rain fortunately. After 3 hours of the damp cool air, I was frickin freezing.
  12. closing in on 1” and currently pouring. another terrific Saturday
  13. good point, try running a couple of them. They really work well, I have one in my 500sf garage that dries it out in no time
  14. funny that you posted these. Sunday i was mowing my trail out back (keeps the ticks at bay), and there was a coyote right next to me, maybe 25 feet away. Then on Tuesday I was out there having an ice cold beer, and a bobcat ran down the trail, like 50 feet away. same bobcat was seen by next door neighbor in his backyard yesterday. Very cool stuff to see
  15. why are we even talking about Stein? no one in New England has had a dry month. i am over 9" MTD, with another ~1" coming this weekend.
  16. You have a few too many sips of the holy sacrament this morning? My high here was 59, and it’s been 90% cloudy since 7am. but hey, at least the wind helps keep the black flies at bay.
  17. temp down to 44 off a high of 47. not quite the way DIT and TKitty drew up their ideal summer day
