  1. had a high of 48 here across the river from MHT. when will I see the 70 degrees that I was promised?
  2. well duh, the collapsed bridge wouldn't be a very safe place to be.
  3. not much elevation in my area, but i could feel it on my morning walk. it was 40 at my house, as i headed downhill (slight slope, maybe 100' elevation change) I could feel the colder air.
  4. what a + dude is obsessed with dry weather, and should not be taken seriously. i literally still have water in my yard from last summer.
  5. note to George: It's december 2. there are still 19 days left until winter begins
  6. i had just over 2" in Nov, but the ground is still soaked. i have wet areas in the yard that are usually only wet in late spring. the little streams have been running since July-very unusual. 38" since May 1 will do that i guess. if that drought monitor says drought anytime in the next 6 months, i might go crazy lol
  7. was supposed to do final cleanup today. Hard to do that with snow and ice on the ground
  8. I sold all my ryobi tools and bought DeWalt. The quality doesn’t compare. I used my DW battery chain saw today to clean up a bunch of dead stuff on and around the trails and it was flawless. it’s really impressive
  9. never happened with a sled, but I had the same thing happen with my homemade go-kart when I was a kid. still have a scar on my ankle where the axle rod hit it. thing started up, took off, did a full u-turn, and smashed into a retaining wall. All in the span of about 3 seconds.
  10. i was on my morning walk this morning, and had the same thought. I had originally thought that this was going to be one of those years where we go from AN temps right into the winter and cold. but you are right, we are stepping down.
  11. I'll be doing mine sunday, wet or not. no other choice for me. They shouldn't be too wet, not getting a ton of rain on Sat PM
  12. leaf disaster incoming today. the wind likes to blow the oak leaves from the neighbors yards and stack them against the back of my house and my garage. good times.
  13. I'm reasonably sure that other countries have moms, too.
  14. i barely had any this year, where last year there were shit tons of them
  15. they aren't cheap, no doubt. but I'd have to empty my tractor bagger almost every lap without it. It holds a ton of leaves, can do the whole yard with only dumping 2-3 times.
