Last winter I had 57”, but it was a rat (average around 70”). I say rat because almost 20 of those 57” came after 3/23 which is too late for this guy. just a stat-padder. Also a rat because I got 4” in February, which is normally the snowiest month.
I don’t remember what year it was, but relatively recently we had a 6”+ storm with temps hovering around 0. And we get snow in low 20s all the time. just 3 days ago in fact.
we got 4” on Friday and 2” yesterday. Yet the sunny spots (esp. south facing slopes) were bare yesterday afternoon. Sun did some damage. so your yard is most certainly not representative of the whole area.
thanks. that trail can be hit or miss, but usually doesn't need a ton of snow as there are no boulders or stumps that need to be covereed up. i wouldn't think about going through a woods trail right now for sure
mahk, do you happen to know if the rail trail in your area is open for snowmobiles? i haven;t been out since 2023, need to put some fresh fuel through my sled
beer?
Day 11 is Feb 2. Feb 2 is the second day of the month. In no world is Feb 2 "well into February", not to mention the fact that on Feb 2 there are no "sun angle/season issues".
but you know this already. i should know better than to respond to one of your many troll posts
