    Skiers don’t really care if there is no snow off-trail. I’ve been 3 times this season and have yet to see any natural snow off-trail. the difference is that bare ground may keep the tourists at home, but the skiers are going to get their turns in.

    Geese. A. do they predict future weather? or B. are they reacting to the current weather? I’ve never seen a goose on TV putting out a forecast, so I’m leaning B. But I could be wrong.

    Did my spring cleanup in the yard. ready for summer. on a more serious note, my way out back is super wet with puddles, soggy ground, and of course, mud. Made it hard to haul the yard waste back there.

    3/4" rain since yesterday. rotting at 41 degrees (that;s my low temp for the day so far). just over 7" rain MTD. not how we drew it up

    man, last year was a rat up here-until March. I was at <50% of average, but then March hit me with 27" which i didn't want, and brought me to within about a foot of average. it sucks, becuase the numbers really don't tell the story of how bad it really was. if we are gonna rat (like you did), i want to rat full tilt full time.

    I skied all last season without a helmet. Of the ~20 times I went, I may have seen 10 people who were not wearing helmets. bought myself one which I willl wear from now on.
