a bunch of years ago some buddies and I were at a bar I think it was in St Johnsbury. we all ended up getting super drunk (so we fit right in), and when 1 of my friends fell off a bar stool all of a sudden we didn't fit in so well. we got kicked out by each and every one of the regulars. I was almost surprised they didn't throw us out through a window, Roadhouse style.
lolololol I love these definitive statements. how about some data:
in the 9 Marches up to and including 2015, I averaged 11.75"
in the 8 Marches 2016-present, I averaged 11.5"
yeah, a whole 1/4" less.
picked up 1/2" in the squall, roads are a bit icy around here this morning. it's a chilly 25 degrees, with some ice in puddles. Saw some ice forming on a couple small ponds. Feels just like 2012.
initial lawn cleanup completed today. picked up approximately 1,000 sticks and branches, then towed the lawn sweeper around to pick up the pine cones and smaller sticks. Will likely need to repeat the sweeping in a couple weeks. first mow still won’t be needed for another few weeks
I’ve caught both coyotes and bobcats (and turkeys, deer, moose, fox) on my trail cam. Have a great pic of a bobcat with dinner hanging from its mouth (chipmunk maybe) that I’ll try to post someday.
First of all, who the hell is P Allen Smith?
got a little yard cleanup done on Saturday before the deluge. cleaned up 3 cart loads of branches, sticks and pine cones. Pine cones?!?! I don't even have any pine trees in my yard.
Let’s see, let me check the calendar…yup, it’s still March 10. therefore, i question your verification abilities.
Yawn.
I am NOT saying that March 18 and beyond will be cold and snowy. I AM saying that it is possible (albeit unlikely).
I am going to go ahead and take the WAY under on that for my area. no way do I see 3-5". perhaps some wet flakes, but that will be about it. my call: 0.0"
unless your goal is to feed the birds, you would be wasting your time and money. getting grass to grow is all about the soil temps. you need to give it another month.
