Lol he’s funny literally everything went much milder, gfs on an island like the old days with the cold rushing in. We wash away the snow, fine with me clean things up a bit. I’d melt if we lose all pack then get a devastating ice storm after lol
I'd say middle ground will be 65%gfs coldest solution and 35% euro warmest solution.. so more a a cave to GFS unless gfs and euro both go north til game time.
Absolutely devastating ice storm on NAM taken with grain of salt. I honestly think 80% gfs blend with euro once they both hold on their stubborn solutions.
Ya I was waiting to say something until I loaded some surface stuff on my phone, it did shift about 50 miles south with the cold press. Verbatim pack eating rain then some brief sleet and icing in most of SNE with snow mostly in CNE and NNE.
NAM did move well SE , wow at icon, if gfs holds serve I will be very interested in EURO and CMC, if GFS reverts back to warm and amped like EURO then this is pretty much game over for SNE.
Anyone notice the scope of this weeks storm? 2,000 plus miles of 12”+ of snow in a 50-100 mile band with 1,000 miles 20”+. And sleet and freezing rain to the south making it 2,000 miles wide and about 500 miles thick north south.
Damn epic up there, I bet you had minimal snow melt from the earlier storms this season. Looks like you got the 30" ENE jackpot. Piles are solid here as we retained pack well too but only about half that after 10"... Just down the hill its much less impressive as they don't retain snowpack very well in the valley.
