  1. MOS has 35° at BML and HIE and a freeze at SLK with 30°.
  2. Maybe +2 here after seeing that satellite image.
  3. I’ll toss a dew of 96° but I think the heat index equation starts to run a little wild with readings that high. Kinda like how the old wind chill formula would exponentially drop with extreme cold and wind when in reality your body can only lose so much heat.
  4. Teacher workshops. We had those frequently on Wednesdays when I was a kid.
  5. Models were well into the 70s in sne for today
  6. Can almost imagine it being Kevin in the morning and running right into the fallen tree becoming one with the damage.
  7. Always enjoy when the front lines up along the mtns and PF land is upsloping while we roast
  8. He’s in reverse psychology mode like when he congratulates me on a storm 5 days out.
  9. Yore airmass on guidance to start next week. First frosts for the hollows in NNE?
  10. Corn sweat. Never heard that one. lol All plants have evapotranspiration and put moisture into the air. Those huge sprawling corn fields pump a lot of moisture into those big ridges. It sends the dews sky high, but keeps the temps a bit in check. Dews well into the 80s can happen occasionally.
  11. Made it up to 80.3°. I hate to see these days waning.
  12. Looks fairly seasonable going forward. Brief warmups and cooldowns. Plenty of late digging troughs to our north to sneak cold fronts in and keep the sustained heat to our west.
  13. 0.70” yesterday. Soil moisture is 20cb…that’s the wettest it’s been since mud season.
  14. I gotchya. But drizzle and rain are defined by droplet size. Drizzle is less than 0.5mm and rain is 0.5mm or greater. So if you were getting giant drops it was simply light rain (-RA) or a light rain shower (-SHRA).
