I love this. I can be out in the sun for much of the day without getting roasted. It reminds me of being in S FL in December…70s and muggy, but the sun just feels comfy.
Looks pretty damn warm overall, but there’s been a lot of runs with some sneaky mild downs and taint advecting from the east under the ridge in our region. Nothing really BN though after early this week…just a matter of how high end and how consistent the warmth is.
Ok thanks for that tip. I sterilized a #60 drillbit and hand drilled right through it above the cuticle. It isn’t pretty, but the pain is only a 5 now instead of a 9. I’m not sure if I should make a few holes as there’s still a slow trickle coming out of the hole as I type.
Shut my thumb in the car door an hour ago. This is some next level pain..may have to go to the er and get it drilled and drained. This is after the finger right next to it finally had the nail grow back in after slamming it in February.
Yeah that’s fine if you’re really into it. I take pride going pesticide free and growing native plants and grasses for the insects and pollinators and pulling out most of the invasives.
Yeah I want to keep some of it mowed…especially the front, but I don’t need a whole acre. It’s fairly rural here so it’ll blend in with most of the other properties anyway.
We saw our first brown rat last week running back and forth from along the run and garage. Then on Sunday I found it dead near the garage with a puncture mark on its side. Then I went in the pawpaw area and found a dead vole laying in the open with the same type of wound.
Would my family of skunks be doing this? From what I’ve read they’re as good with rodent control as cats.
I loathe how long the cold and dark days drag on for. Warm season feels like a blink. I’d love a torch Novie, a fun 2 months after Thanksgiving, and then back to a Greta finish, but we all know it will be 5 straight months of the same meh.
Was looking at old obs from Carol. BOS Had some fun ones.
