  1. Moline goes back the furthest...
  2. Was half expecting this to happen at the end.
  3. I grew to love pack living here. Everyone here has their winter thing. PF has the upslope, you guys have the biggies, I have the consistent mod/hvy events and pack, some have the elevation boost, some have the rad cooling, James has the wind...lol. As much as the pack drives me insane sometimes it can be good for the yard. Having 6”+ over the landscape DJFM can really help insulate the plants. The CAD wedges can get depressing though.
  4. Looks like 07-08 here. Except it wasn’t down to 10” the next day. lol
  5. Yeah when I see rain/elevated convection getting into the cold sector it always give me pause about plowing the warm front through because of the evap cooling north of the front. It always seems to give the cold sector more staying power...especially here in CAD land.
  6. I'm just hoping for a cold front this winter. 2 would be gravy.
  7. I think I had 63.3". I'll have to tally it up later. I've been lazy with my climo data averages this year. I have 61.1" in Kevinma's snow table, but I don't think I put the 2.2" from May in there.
  8. Well I average similar and had 33".
  9. Well I was looking at it differently...near even chances of snow without the bone chilling cold. Probably less of a likelihood of losing out versus locations to my south as well.
  10. I think I’d rather take my chances with +1 up here.
  11. Not written by Cranky https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-8303393/Polar-Vortex-blasts-northeastern-record-low-temperatures-broken.html
  12. At least 5" in Randolph, NH today while DCA had 0.6" and BWI 1.8" for the entire winter respectively. That'll be another world for phineas.
  13. Looks like this patch of snow will survive the day into tomorrow morning. 34/20
  14. Back down to near freezing with big fluffy dendrites falling out out of a milky blue sky. Looks like diamond dust.
  15. CAR is on pace for their 2nd coldest May low max on record. This would also be the coldest high temp there for so late in the season. As for the snow..
  16. Snow/graupel in this cell. It's basically heavily rimed dendrites.
