  1. You are ground zero up here right now. When did you move from Auburn?
  2. There’s a high density of flakes out there which is keeping the vis way down despite the meh growth. I’m only pulling 9-10:1 ratios up here, but it adds up. When you get that extra lift in the banding the deposition goes off the charts in the DGZ and you start turning a similar amount of liquid into triple the snow rates.
  3. I can’t see you in your subby zone from my subby zone through that band.
  4. That S NH band is starting to regenerate eastward...losing the brighter echoes around I93.
  5. For those getting porked...at least if you’re gonna lose, lose big. A few inches will melt pretty quickly this time of year.
  6. I’m not sure what the beam is hitting SW of the radar site. @OceanStWx would know.
  7. Congrats man. Idk if it has enough of a push to get back this way. I may get Kevin’d.
  8. Starting to ramp up. Dryslots band is moving in. Up to 27.6°
  9. Drift under the beam. Ground truth is slightly more SW of the echoes the more you get away from the radar site (assuming strong NE winds).
  10. Just took a core. Nothing great yet...under 10:1. 3.0”/0.32”
  11. You’re up to 1.13” now and there may be some undercatch from the strong winds too.
  12. MQE 56kt and they’ve been averaging almost 0.20” in the can for 6 hours.
  13. I know. But that’s the 2nd band moving west out of RI. The first one dissipated. There’s no major band behind that 2nd one so it should stay together and make a better westward push.
  14. The first one vaporized faster than the hair on your head. The following one subbied it, but hopefully for you that one makes a better push westward.
  15. God is fairly busy, but he’s got it on his wait list for consideration.
  16. The wind has even started ripping up here for our standards. It won’t be an easy measurement.
  17. Wow ACK down to 32Fwith pounding snow and 53mph sustained.
