  1. No way. There will be a sleet zone in there.
  2. So yeah, it’s counting the sleet zone as snow on TT.
  3. Where are you guys viewing your ICON? I see no 850 temps on TT and I think the ptype maps are counting sleet as snow.
  4. Sneaky cold this morning after a semi mild day yesterday. 2F with a breeze and Gene was -1F.
  5. Well that's what I'm saying...it's really a 9-12hr window of heavy here with a few hours on each side. I think the real accumulating snow ends up under the 24hr mark and closer to 18hr. I'm hoping it's done early enough so I can go out and clear some before the Pats game.
  6. I'd call it 18hrs here. -SN Saturday evening, the heavies from midnight to sunrise, and then light/mod cold fluff into early afternoon.
  7. It gave us an early start with a little finger of fronto and then it just shifted north with the better upglide. Powderfreak probably jacks on this run.
  8. The GFS is broken from the shutdown!
  9. It's the NAM so the usual 84hr caveats apply, but I think you can kinda see where the big mid-level lift moves through our area into NNE on the QPF maps. Maybe we make hay with higher ratios during that time and then we pile on 10:1 on the back 9.
  10. NAM drops over 1" of liquid here while I sit in the single digits.
  11. 1.50-2.00" of WCB QPF seems a bit excessive. Get those totals inside of 48hr and maybe I'll start buying it. Ditto that with the ratios. If we get consensus for good lift for a prolonged period in the DGZ then maybe I'll entertain something more than 12:1 for the event total. But in those euro 850-700mb max T in the profile maps Ray posted it even gets up to around -3C up here. So the mid-latter portion of the system will probably have lousier growth. We'll see over the next couple days though. Maybe this will be the exception to the rule.
  12. Mom just texted asking how much snow and said my sister told her that a woman at her work heard 24”. I wonder if that lady reads this forum and saw one of Ginxy’s snow maps.
  13. Silver laced wyandotte hen and she can be a real jerk to some of the other birds. Bad omen?
  14. James will be on soon to let us know how NMB4 looks for Harwich.
  15. Sweet. That’s one of my chickens’ names.
  16. This was the northern extent of where some spot in the column goes above freezing on the euro. Somewhere a bit SE of that line is probably the northern extent of the pingers on that 12z run.
  17. I want it to torch at 18z and then cave cold at 00z. Then the ukie and ec come in at 0z uber amplified again.
