  1. There’s a lot of convection in the southeast. That ridging is getting a late latent heating boost.
  2. Too many pingers and meh ratios for that. I think the jack has moved to PF and the moose at BML and Rangeley.
  3. Give it to me now, pellets on the ground Bouncing on the pavement, all around Pingerrrrrrrrs Get your sleet on Get your sleet on
  4. I haven’t looked at enough to comment for down there, but if these midlevels had been like this all along (no gloom and doom from the late warm trends) we’d probably be saying to watch for the CAD to overperform and the low to hug the south coast and go over the canal or something. Maybe we can get a tick south at 12z.
  5. I’m jealous if you sneak in a dew of 50F. My driveway needs to melt asap.
  6. Reminds me of a cold shot in 1527 discovered from an ice core taken by an inuit man in Nunavik.
  7. I still think this ends up cooler at the sfc, but yeah, that’s why it’s useless obsessing over details at d8.
  8. Not boring? Entire column in the -40s.
  9. -45C 850s....I’ve never seen that.
  10. I don't think I'd make any changes until seeing the euro. I mean, we're talking the GFS here people.
  11. How is the Cape looking for all snow?
  12. If it's correct it will probably make for a solid Will melt job.
  13. I expect the GFS to never catch onto it. It'll play catch-up right until then end. I mean most of the models do anyway even in in-situ events up here. The sfc cold almost always overperforms north of the warm front.
  14. Stay the course and wait for the euro.
  15. OT, but these time-height plots really show what you were talking about with the cold shot centered in the low levels. There wouldn't be much mixing above 925 if that verifies.
  16. JFC...check this one out for PWM. +2C at 825 and -18C at 925.
  17. Yeah...I mean I'll take the under on that as I think they overdo it with ratios with inverted temp profiles. Plus there's the riming factor Chris and I talked about earlier which will increase the density of the crystals.
