  1. That better forcing will keep bumping northward as the dryslot and mix line climb northward. Our time was about 16-17z onward.
  2. Large dendritic growth in CON right now, but vis is running above a 1/2SM.
  3. 17.5F -SN Technically -SN vis wise but probably pushing moderate in this band right now. Really good snow growth as well initially before the warmer air aloft moves in to drop ratios.
  4. Extrapolating the 84hr rgem is always fun
  5. I mean maybe he wastes a tenth of QPF on ip/zr? It’s nbd. He’ll get a few inches and crust it up a bit. It’s mostly crap qpf anyway under the mid level dryslot.
  6. Reggie has barely budged for days (slightly warmer now) while the globals rapidly caved warmer. 12z goofus gives you some zr now. I think I'd lean on you getting at least some ZR, but whatever. It's 2-3" of snow and then at worst a coating of zr. Looks like the euro is coming in warmer aloft too.
  7. Yeah that's what I mean. I think they need to average 3"/12hrs over a zone so 2-3" wouldn't really cut it in the all snow zones I guess. But with the ZR mixing in over much of CT I'd think they would just go with the WWA anyway...unless they're saving it for the next shift.
  8. This weekend we probably get a brief modified shot of that cold west of us. Maybe teens for highs Saturday? I’m expecting my first single digies then.
  9. Many of us just had double digits. I can’t complain. I must be near normal on the season. I’ll have to add it up later.
  10. I’m just happy there’s no rain. 20s and sun will be great.
  11. Some of that is anecdotal and/or outdated. But if you find a tendency that works for you then that’s great. I’m just always hesitant of prolonged biases with how frequently they tinker with these models now.
