That’s what I prefer too. I’m always looking for the very dark, strong graded syrup, but it’s hard to find. The more flavor the more I like it. If I could get some of the old version grade C syrup I’d use that.
My 6" soil has been stuck at 31-32F since Jan. Usually it's 33-34F by now. I was up at Just Maple in Tilton last weekend and they said it has been slow for them too...and they have one of those big vacuum setups.
If he's on Shaker Rd there that's 600-640ft...I'm at 615' and have more than the top of my 800ft hill. Whatever he's measuring isn't representative....probably not even for his own yard.
Yeah, 33-34F here and not much melting. I hadn't looked at much, but saw MOS had 43F for CON so I was hoping for upper 30s to knock out more snow, but it's not happening.
I have like the most in town being on the sheltered north side of my hill and it’s still only 2-4”. There’s no way anyone in town here has 10” of solid cover.
lol...up at 5a....work all day....home at 3 to work in the yard and the birds. come in at 8p...make dinner...eat....bed by 11p. sometimes i wish i was more lazy.
