  1. Those 850s are kinda meh. This shot is centered lower.
  2. First Lake and Lk Francis -22F. Estcourt Station -24F. MWN is -11F...one of the warmest spots in Coos right now.
  3. The chickens were not enthused this evening. 6.4F

  5. Probably a few inches here. Theme of the season.
  6. We’ve had pack here since 12/17. 20” in Jan too. So yeah, it hasn’t been that bad. Just nothing extreme.
  7. 10-11” at my place so it’s pretty consistent through the foothills.
  8. Even a frigid day like this will end up going in as a midnight high of 30° for me. This winter refuses to acknowledge anything cold or snowy. At least it’s winter though.
  9. heh...we're getting to the point where NYC avg mean temp starts climbing above 32F.
  10. Not with snow falling at the top of 1WTC.
  11. Probably just in time to give you a 33F rain nor'easter.
  12. Thankfully the cold shot is modifying (was never too impressive at H85 anyway) and then we can go back to a couple weeks of meh. Then there will be light at the end of this POS winter tunnel.
  13. It'll be interesting to see what happens the next 10 years if we regress a little bit with the 80s removed from the normals.
  14. It's kinda been like that the entire 2000s though. There's a big +AO there though so north of the arctic circle is pretty much blue and the mid lats orange. I know you know this, but just sayin'.
  15. Well I think that’s the point we’re making. CC may be giving us snowier winters. My regression comment triggered John a bit, but I think we can still have snowier winters than previous decades and still have room for regression back down.
  16. Meh. I’m like 10”+ above my normal snowfall over the last 15 years. CC isn’t accounting for that much already.
  17. I think a lot of us forget what a normal or slightly below normal season really feels like. We’ve been spoiled a lot the last 2 decades. Yeah, we know we’ve been lucky and that we’re due for regression, but it doesn’t make it any easier when you’re actually living through one of the down years...especially if it’s more down than usual.
  18. Had some light drizzly/snizzly precip at home when I left, but we’re getting some big aggregates right now at CON. Haven’t looked at much yet, but just a quick glance at radar makes me think there’s some seeder feeder action. Just a hint of better echoes moving through is flipping it to snow.
