Yeah...pretty ridiculous. I missed this yet my lawn is still full of puddles and soggy. I have algae forming in areas of the lawn with grass coming through. Shitshow.
Looks like drier air is trying to back in from SW ME to at least erode some of the lower clouds...especially E NH. Maybe we can get some breaks of thinner overcast to let the temp creep toward 60F.
Sounds like a dry summer with low dews would help.
Seriously though, I’ve noticed the same thing on the north side of my pear trees. Lots of newly formed moss.
I can’t wait for a snowy stretch with multiple 32/25 type days strung together so that I can say we’re in a warm pattern and that it’s just the clouds and snow keeping us from 45F.
lol. You guys are in APF now? You should hit Foxboroughs for lunch with fellow New England weenies. We lived in the River Reach complex right next to APF airport. There’s decent shopping downtown there.
No norways in my neighborhood, but the forsythia are near peak. My white willow is leafing out, but that’s about it. I have a feeling everything pops at once next week. At least the grass looks like Ireland.
idk...the labrador current creates a pretty big delta for us this time of year. it’s nowhere near this bad at any point in the season down in the coastal mid atlantic.
