  1. How much lightning with that system?
  2. The last few weeks have felt more like our recent Decembers rather than summer.
  3. delivering a swift kick to the balls.
  4. With all that said...it's a beautiful morning. Low of 40F and not a cloud to be seen.
  5. Yeah half of them occurred during that wet, dewy stretch mid month. Again, it's more about the clouds/rain than the temp itself. People would rather have 55/30 sunny days than 62/48 garbage where it's only near the high for about 2 hours and then it rains and we wetbulb down to 50F for the majority of the time.
  6. With # of days of measurable precip?
  7. Oh, I guess I change my mind then. It’s been an awesome spring.
  8. Looks great. 71.6" btw....leapfrogs me back past Legro.
  9. Yeah lots of leaves perked up over the last 24hrs. My tulip poplar is leafing out and the shagbark buds are swelling and ready to go. Unfortunately it looks like the wet stretch has taken out 3 of my american chestnut trees....one is definitely dead. Another is showing early signs of blight, but is still trying to leaf out. The 5th one (driest spot) looks the best. 53/50 now and clearing out after 0.06” rain with the front. Should be a nice next 36-48hrs with sun and low dews.
  10. Nice. You deserve a nice day. Had a few breaks here and warmed to 56°. Raining now. Next couple of days look nice...just gotta avoid the freeze Thu morning.
  11. Dr. Dew finds this funny. Noted.
  12. Cold and cloudy. 47.7F Front is on the doorstep.
  13. Happy 40th on Wed btw (in case I miss you). I had a lot of anticipation for that one, but I honestly woke up Saturday and didn’t have a clue what day it was until I saw the happy 41 signs Lisa put up in the kitchen. Bring some warmth back with you please.
  14. Check out Siesta Key beach. The sand is unreal. Barefoot beach in Bonita is cool too if you want to see a little wildlife...lots of tortoises. South Beach on Boca Grande is still my number one. You pass through the tunnel of banyan trees on banyan street. Lots of big iguanas everywhere. Eat at South Beach bar and grille right on the beach. (They used to let you take drinks down to the beach but I think they stopped that). I had a manatee pass next to me in the water there. Lots of dolphins offshore too (Venice north and south pier during the evening is a good spot for dolphin watching too). If you hit the right day there’s good shelling in the water too...I used to pull them up with my feet.
  15. Different world down there. Like I’ve always said...if I ever move away from snow I’d do it all the way and end up on the SW gulf coast. You should walk around the campus of FGCU...idk how anyone gets work done there.
  16. GFS tracks a mesolow from the Pike to BOS on Friday...euro has a later developing mesolow too. I'd be leery of a warm sector north of the pike, but it's still 4 days out.
  17. Lock it in. When I see MOS hitting 29F at CON and precip hot on its heels 24hrs later, I know the next day will be a cold, wedged rain.
  18. Sweet...more 40s and rain for Friday.
  19. Eroding quickly now. Drier air advecting in from the NE and NW.
  20. Need more blue sky pics in here.
  21. Looks like just the tip for WNE.
  22. That’s IPtimelapse software. I just have it retrieve my Davis data.
