  1. I haven’t touched the calibration on this. It’s a relatively new gauge as of last year with the newly designed cone to reduce wind turbulence.
  2. That one isn’t always true. I know a lot of the Davis dealers have to put that because they aren’t allowed to advertise their prices if they’re lower than the Davis MSRP. So you get one of those add to cart deals or submit your email to get a link to our unadvertised price.
  3. Nice storm. 7.20”/yr max rate, but brief. Down to 60°. Right over the chook.
  4. Alex has money. https://www.environmental-expert.com/products/felix-model-sl300-ultrasonic-snow-depth-sensor-254050 or https://www.lufft.com/products/cloud-height-snow-depth-sensors-288/snow-depth-sensor-shm-30-2301/
  5. Lots of showers and brief downpours. 0.10" so far, but surrounded by cells. 62.9°
  6. 90" is the new climo. I need something slightly above average like 120" to make me waver.
  7. I've changed man. I like the novelty of record breaking cold, but I've gotten too much into plants and my birds. But whatever the weather is, it is....not going to spin it like wxhype. I choose the more tolerable weather, but if snowy and cold happens I'll find a way to enjoy that too. I'm a weather lover too. It's just that weather is lower on my priority list whereas it used to be the only thing on my list. Anyway, back to the torch looking pattern.
  8. No lie on those monthlies. If you want to give me deformation delight I'll take some, but give me the warmer temps.
  9. Looks like they tied it to me...67F. Just brutal cold.
  10. These are my buttons J +12 F +12 M +10 A +7 M +4 J +1 J -2 A -2 S +2 O +7 N +10 D +12
  11. Only 2 90s in BOS post 9/26 since the days of yore too (excluding 19th century).
  12. Just a trace of rain here with a few rumbles. Got the lavarock 7-10.
  13. Climo starts to become a killer for 90F up here as we get near October. CON has 2 90+ readings in their October history and one was in the knicker years. Otherwise the highest was a 90F on 10/7/63. Before that the next 90F is 9/28 back in yore and then you get into the 90-91 stuff from 2007 and 2017. Get 18-20C up here and we'll push it regardless of climo, but my hunch is those euro runs are a little too aggressive for the heat up here. Last night's euro looks a lot like how this last stretch played out. NE-SW gradient as the high knifes in and then we step it up each day until a stronger cold fropa comes through. That's getting into lala though. Pretty strong gradients though across the US, but we're getting into that season I guess. Like Scoot said...looking ninaish too.
  14. Pretty epic. Breezy and up to 76F with full mixing ahead of the cold front. Rain on the doorstep.
  15. Put me in the happy camp. I'd prefer about 5F cooler, but if it means we're still in the 70s post cold front then I'll deal with the extra warmth now. Winter is long. Very long. I feel no need to rush into scraping my car every morning this early.
  16. 76° here...lots of clouds all day. Briefly hit 81° for a high.
  17. Yeah I can tolerate that one, but Hannaford carries that and it's usually more expensive than the Organic Valley one at MB. I've made my own before and it was phenomenal using my own eggs and raw cream and milk from Brookford farm. It probably had 100g of fat.
  18. Yeah our market basket had it out at the beginning of the month. lol Still waiting for my organic one to show up so I don't get heartburn while drinking it.
