    I think I’m in the lean warm camp, but not a continuous stretch like the EPS has been occasionally advertising. Maybe 2-3 warm days and then a sneaky s/w to muck it up for a couple of days before the warmth tries to advect back in. OH valley-south and westward probably roast. Although if we can really ramp those positive height anomalies into PQ it’ll give us a lot more wiggle room to avoid backdoors or late digging s/w’s.

    Mar 1998 I hit 90 in S NH. It was like a week of 70-90.

    EPS/GEFS have been pretty consistent in flipping warm after the 24/25th so the heart of winter is on its last legs. We’re obviously not done up here even if the deeper east ridging pans out, but March snow has a different feel. Maybe it’s the lack of staying power after it falls. Maybe it’s the burnt nape while I’m clearing it. idk.

    Grow out a section of meadow for the beneficial insects. It’ll make the ticks happy too.

    My 8 2023 birds are all laying and some of the others have restarted. Eggs for days. But yeah, all of those chicken droppings go around the fruit trees for slow steady nitrogen all year.
