  1. Looks like it will flip back to snow again here soon.
  2. Looks like western Grafton may be washing out. We'll see if it moves east in the next couple frames. That would probably flip it back to all snow here.
  3. I've been on the 2-4" snow train with some sleet accums on top of it. GYX was in the 6-8" range last I saw, but that probably includes sleet and any snow after a changeover back from the secondary. I think I saw Chris on here say he'd like to dial back the amounts though.
  4. The 12z euro valid 5z isn't looking too hot.
  5. 50/50 snow and sleet now. 29.8F Took a measurement off the board, but didn't clear. 0.4" new and 0.07" w.e.
  6. Yeah...probably snowing at the Tilt'n Diner. Still mostly pinging here though. Looks like another push of warmth is trying to come in.
  7. The NAM has the IP line crashing back SW toward AFN starting around now. No sign of that yet on CC.
  8. 29.9° -PLSN Probably 75/25 sleet versus snow now.
  9. 29.8F with steady snow. We are right on the line based on dual pol.
  10. Hard to tell what it's doing up there. Looks like some flakes, but they're mostly in the clouds. The warm layer will be well above them when it noses in later.
  11. 30.0F -SN A tenth or 2 so far.
  12. idk...seems to be going according to plan to me. It's a meh airmass until the low level CAA feed arrives tomorrow. We've been talking about it for days how some places, even ORH, could start as plain rain and then start flipping toward sunrise.
  13. The real cold air doesn’t advect in until the early morning. It’s probably a mixed bag of pellets and/or liquid drops until then.
  14. 41° off of a high of 44° at the STEM today. Nice day.
  15. His first car window accretion to verify.
  16. Still tossed like a DIT meal out a car window after a holiday GTG.
  17. I actually don't think you're going to see much of a dew "feed" today. That comes in later tomorrow after the precip has already begun. So some expecting ice to the SW may start as some ZR, latently warm toward freezing or go above, and then wait for some lower dews to feed in toward sunrise.
  18. H7 temps valid 12z tomorrow... Euro ------ GFS GGEM --- ARPEGE
  19. The maps are wrong based on H7 temps. It tries to show us snowing at times despite H7 being >0C. I almost wonder if the model is seeing the pixie dust snow grains in the cold layer and giving that predominance on ptype. Maybe we do better than 2-4" but heavy heavy toss.
  20. Hard sell on those euro snow maps for up here.
  21. Yup..definitely a trend toward more sleet up here. I'm leaning 2-4" snow and then pile up the pingers.
