  1. I didn’t look that closely, but I don’t think temps aloft can support snow there. I’d toss it as a fooled sensor. They’re not going straight to snow with the backdoor anyway. You probably need to fall into the mid 20s before it cools enough aloft for snow.
  2. Went calm with the +RA and it dropped 10 degrees to 48°. Mix this crap back out.
  3. Still 36° at Plymouth....they just can’t mix out. What a pit up there. We briefly fell back to 45° overnight when winds went light, but it mixed back out after 30-45 minutes. 56mph at Gunstock and 60/58 at LCI. Just so surreal out there. I let the birds out with shorts, a tee shirt, and sandals.
  4. You can basically see the door on radar as there’s light returns behind the boundary.
  5. Getting there. Driveway is ice free. Maybe 1-2” pack?
  6. 60° at 7am. Take that CAD.
  7. 55/49 here. Hope we tickle up some more. Looks like the BD is through BGR.
  8. Pack going down faster than the Ravens.
  9. 1P1 only mixed out for like 2 hours today. Back down to 36°. Terrible. Bouncing around in the low to mid 50s here depending on the mixing. Had some brief upper 40s too when winds got really light.
  10. It actually falls out of the sky like that there.
  11. Even if we subtract 2F off the high of 70F in BOS, there's only 4 days in the period of record with a high temp warmer than 68F there in January.
  12. We get a 58° rainer with a raging LLJ. But we don’t pull 65-70 and sun in mid Jan.
  13. Won’t happen. They’ll be easily under 55° by midnight tomorrow.
  14. 59.5F...just a half degree more to avoid an MPM 60F.
  15. 56/44 FEW Surreal out there. It's rare for us to be this warm with full sun up here in Jan...especially with pack. 2007 was much warmer, but we were packless.
  16. Should be a lot of hairy arms out windows and John Mayer blasting today.
  17. Luckily for me it took 4 squalls to achieve that.
  18. Wow skies have opened up. SCT now. 100% going shorts today. We probably won’t have a weekend this nice until June.
  19. Just need a favorable NAO Nogueira Anger Oscillation
  20. Fake effect. I will say though that the super large dendritic LES snows tend to have higher vis for the same rates. Of course it's huge amounts of 30:1 fake fluff. idk about 28" in 4hrs there. Where did he get the 28"? Did they measure before every time they snowblowed? In a 4hr sample like that you shouldn't be clearing at all. So I have my doubts. 4hrs of 0.25" liquid at 30:1 would give you 7.5"/hr and 30". But again, by hour 4 the weight of that is compacting the earlier snow below it.
  21. Up to 48°. Guns out later.
