I’ve always found MOS busts hard in warm setups when you have bare, dry ground when climo says you should have pack or at least mud season. So yeah, it’s an albedo and/or a soil moisture effect.

I think I recall the GFS caving NW a few times. In the end, a blend would have sufficed and that blend apparently wasn’t good enough.
