  1. I was out picking up bird crap and from when I went in to when I came out there was about 2-3” (under 30 minutes). Snow squall warning here.

    Snowpack

As bad as that downslope zone is in Littleton NH, I don't think I'd put MHT/ASH ahead of them on retention. Some kind of ratio between total snowfall and snow depth days may work as well. That would tell you who does the best at keeping what they get.
  3. Nice amped up run. That tuck backed way off from 6z.
  4. There's some nice torchy stretches in the record period.
  5. Consecutive 63F and 69F at BOS in early Jan 2007. I think I even hit 66F or something in that. Consecutive 67F and 62F in 2008 as well. 1995 had 3 straight days of mid 60s
  6. I posted 1913 the other day. I think there was a b2b 62F in there and 4 days in the 60s with a couple of 59s.
  7. Had to laugh at the GFS in the Champlain valley this weekend. It oozes the cold boundary down the valley with mega WAA aloft. Looked like 10s toward St. Albans and 850s pushing 50F. I'll have to do a weenie wiz point click sounding.
  8. 0.3" but a little slick when I left. NHDOT is making sure they use up their salt surplus.
  9. People love to report snow intensity, but usually it gets a bit overestimated. None of us have vis sensors so it's always just an educated guess. I think a lot of mod reports here are actually light and a lot of heavy are just moderate. Not accusing anyone of overestimating...just throwing it out there. I haven't looked at much down there.
  10. weather.us has the individual members out to d15, but that’s it. It’s probably a mistake on his part too since everything else is paywalled.
  11. Really hope the euro is wrong with that backdoor. If I get wedged while ALB and SNE are 60-70F I'll lose it.
  12. Can't stop laughing listening to that chorus while viewing the 12z euro.
  13. GFS doesn't even change us over. Pure torch and 60F up to SFM ahead of the cold front. Although it's more anafrontal with quite a bit of QPF behind the sfc boundary.
  14. Another 0.8”/0.04” overnight. 2.2”/0.09”. Not bad.
  15. Euro is still trying to tuck up here before the cold fropa next Sunday. I'd prefer the full torch GFS scenario over a cold drenching.
  16. GFS is a torch again too. Bring it.
  17. 1.4" today via only 0.05" liquid. A jspin special.
  18. Nice. You were near my place. Kettlehead looks like a dive, but it's not bad. Too bad I wasn't home...I would've had you stop by for a few minutes to see dendyland. You could see the chickens you're always trying to kill.
  19. What an undercut of that airmass on the goofus for next weekend.
