HIE could be pretty nasty too with the SSE downslope off the Whites. They could easily clear out too with that llvl sinking air.

Already 91mph on MWN. Their big wind was an April event via SE winds. Maybe they can pull off a 140mph despite the meat of the LLJ being further south.

Getting some good gusts in CON too. Glad I'm fairly clear to my south except for a large, albeit healthy and strong, oak.

Nothing about his statement is untrue. From his post, I didn't get that he was meh'ing the wind on the S coast.

Yeah this one has a lot going for it over the SNE high terrain and even the CT Valley. Areas that downslope on a S wind too. Immediate shore is a wildcard, but those winds will be roaring right off the deck. That's a healthy warm sector too...dews will be pushing 55-60F on the south shore so the cooler waters may not even matter much. We'll see.

I think this verifies fairly windy...we’re not trying to advect in a warm airmass over a Jan/Feb surface. Yeah, there will be rain and clouds, but those 925-950 winds are impressive down in SNE. Some 60s in a dewy warm sector will help the transport down. Yeah, I doubt the TAN ASOS gusts to 65-70mph, but the usual spots that maximize on S flow should approach those BOX numbers.

Something here has been dropping a powdery white pollen for over a week. The only trees I see any activity from are the aspen and pussy willows, but I’m not sure where it’s coming from. -
Mid 50s dews before the fropa too. I may even open the windows.

There's pretty much unmitigated flow from the NE to Randolph all the way back from the lakes by Rangeley and the terrain all rises up around Randolph like a half bowl. They must get some really good upslope enhancement in nor'easters.

Yeah that Randolph cocorahs observer blows all of the other observers in the state away on there with total snowfall and depth. He/she is the 11" new on here.
