  1. Potent vortmax moving through? There were many squalls in NY and VT. Some made it through to here and apparently MA.
  2. North is best next week? Keep that cutoff well south plz.
  3. Wind all night here so no records. Min was only 31°. We take. Looks like a cold one in the sheltered valleys tonight. That sfc high crests over us toward sunrise. Should be some nice ranges tomorrow.
  4. lol it’s snowing. 41/25 -SHSN
  5. 31/27 -SN at SLK currently. It's like another world.
  6. CON record is 27F from 2005. The coldest temps ever from this point on is 24F in 5/25/1956 and 5/27/1969. For tonight's min, the 18z MAV is 25F and the 12z MET is 27F. So if they go calm it'll be close to a record. MAV has 17F at SLK. Gah.
  7. At least I’m familiar with modern rhea. This yore rhea I’m not adapted to.
  8. It’s over Thursday. We’ll wake up to frost in the lower els and then everyone rockets up during the day. It’s all up and up from there.

  10. The warmth swerved left and the cold swerved right The Labrador current was just too tight To the warm air I tried to switch Then, you saw my backdoor bitch
  11. The most damaging weather of the day goes to VT.
  12. We pray. I have 4 pawpaw trees coming in next week. I want them in the ground ASAP.
  13. I think my graupel yesterday was bigger than some of these hail obs.
  14. I do a half yard in my little Ranger. Just make sure it isn't sobbing wet and go slow.
  15. D11 with 50s lurking in Maine doesn’t give me a nice feeling...at least not up here.
  16. I could make an H5 joke, but this is actually quite impressive.
  17. The wind is ripping up here. Went to Agway in Hooksett and I couldn’t even stand looking at their trees outside...must’ve been 40mph gusts there. It took forever to clear out today too. Shit day considering most of it was windy, cloudy, and cold. The late afternoon mid 50s can’t salvage it.
  18. Maybe for early April standards.
  19. At least we didn’t decouple and the temp stayed up all night. 31° right now so not too bad for the plants. Next freeze chance is mid week...then hopefully that’s it.
  20. Not written by Cranky https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-8303393/Polar-Vortex-blasts-northeastern-record-low-temperatures-broken.html
  21. At least 5" in Randolph, NH today while DCA had 0.6" and BWI 1.8" for the entire winter respectively. That'll be another world for phineas.
