  1. Newark in July 2011 can relate. Looking at the raw 1 min obs...looks like they pulled a 108/69 and a 106/72. They had back to back 109/66 obs too, but they didn't get a 3rd one to make the 5-min avg 109F so officially the high for the day was "only" 108F.
  2. 63.2/56 off of a high of 71.9F. Not a drop today.
  3. I'm done counting on summer garbage. Dare I say I'm ready for wedge season and some reliable rainy SWFEs to kick off met autumn.
  4. Nice evening. Quite a bit of sun and temps in the upper 60s with a breeze. 67/58
  5. Pretty sure he's fine. Apparently he last logged in and posted on the day there was a big COVID thread debacle on here and people had posts deleted.
  6. 64.8° Shorts and hoodie season has begun.
  7. Yup I remember that. Back in the Derek and Fred days.
  8. 69/59 so far on the day. Off to get some apple cider doughnuts. Pumpkin coffee starts next week at DD.
  9. No clouds past the Worcester hills
  10. I remember hearing it in cartoons growing up. Maybe you were a Jem guy?
  11. Wait...some have never heard “katy bar the door” before?
  12. 66° and overcast with a stiff breeze. Was sunny and calm when I went out an hour ago. You can see the NE flow and overcast rapidly spreading SW on vis.
  13. Finally more hours of 90+ at BDL than BTV, but it's still been more impressive relative to normal at BTV. I think MHT has had more hours of 90+ than BDL too.
  14. Good question. Probably not a whole lot. I’d guess more toward 1F and higher on the mins than on the max temps. We’ll be losing a lot of those chilly 80s mins.
  15. Someday it’ll snap back at least a little the other way. This year will be part of the 91-2020 normals as well. It’ll be fun when an 85/65 day becomes BN at BDL.
  16. Nice break from the excessive heat in the extended
  17. nm...I see BOX tweeted it. A few mins after 18z as suspected.
  18. Where did he see that? They may have...especially right after 18z when there was a string of 32C obs. But if they didn't hit it in that 20 min period it may have been tough because it was mostly 31C obs after that. Based on the 5 min obs I'd guess they did....I'd put it at 80/20 odds.
  19. There aren't many things meteorologically more riveting than BDL hitting 90F in the summer...probably only dew talk and my soil temperature.
