  1. 31° -SN It’s a little white out there.
  2. Probably time for an April thread. March has seemed to drag on forever. Looks like we just need to get through the ULL garbage this week and maybe we get some baby step improvements beyond this weekend. At least we seem to be done with the really cold nights.
  3. We had both here. The first set of cells was all small hail. There was a layered look to the hydrometeors and some were a little smaller than peas. That last line started as hail, but transitioned over to regular sleet and the temp responded with a quick drop from 35F to 33F. Some of the colder surfaces still had a coating of it remaining this morning. There was some decent hail here near the CON-Pembroke line as well as I saw large piles of it built up near storm drains and other runoff areas.
  4. I'd love to cut back on my lawn and do more perennial gardens, wildflowers, and fruit trees.
  5. More small hail/graupel. 34.2F
  6. Jesus....just had a close strike and the thunder was like a 5.2 on the richter scale.
  7. Another line of TSRA coming through here too.
  8. This inversion is really helping with the bangs. Sounds like bombs going off.
  9. This will be the best storm of the year.
  10. Nice. I’ve had enough rain though. Nothing like a TSGS at 34.9°.
  11. More small hail. Swear I just heard thunder.
  12. Legit small hail right now. Wtf
  13. MWN is 19F with SNIP and what are they? About 825mb?
  14. Lawn near the house is greening up. Comfrey and some of the ornamental grass is coming up in front of the coop. Forsythia is swelling up. Still a few snow piles here and there, but the ground is thawed. We had like 30” on the ground this time in 2008.
  15. F snow. Give me this all April. I want some peace and tranquility.
  16. The higher terrain wouldn't surprise me, but that's a pretty potent block.
  17. Ain’t no drizzle like a COVID drizzle.
  18. Great timing with this pattern.
  19. Probably at 2000ft while we 35° and rain.
  20. A little sun this morning as some dry air advects in from the NE in the low levels. Still some garbage moving in aloft though. We'll take the brief sun. The sunrise was amazing.
