I don’t think a heat wave is a slam dunk. Tuesday may be a problem and we’ll see if we get a day later in the week with enough rain/clouds to foil it. The dews will be the worst yet though...days and days of swampazz. Maybe they can rack up a 70° min wave.
lol
There is such a thing as moderate and heavy drizzle, but I doubt that’s what they were going for there. Droplet size is what distinguishes drizzle from rain. Intensity is different from rain though. Rainfall is based on rates and drizzle is off of visibility like snow. So drizzle reducing visibility to 1/4SM would be +DZ.
BTV is like 330ft. They can torch pretty well with the right flow. Same goes for the IZG/N. Conway area.
I think most understand the scalar vs anomaly differences, but these over the top shots have been so extreme even the scalar values are higher over NNE than SNE.
Maybe this one will play out differently, but the ec op has a couple of shots with the warmest mid level temps passing through NNE. As has been the theme, there's a remnant ULL turd in the punch bowl from the mid-atlantic into far SNE that's is just enough to keep the heat from being too extreme.
Big waste of money is what it is. Poor topsoil and no irrigation. Weeds took over late last summer and think we had some grub damag
Parts of my front look like yours. I dumped a ton of dwarf white clover all over the area before the recent rains. I’m hoping it’ll take off and improve the soil over time. If it takes off I may add more clover and grass seed before the winter pack settles in.
