  1. Have some spots here that are close to needing their first mow. Areas that had lingering snow and puddles are still lagging behind. Forsythia has bloomed and the crabapple and willow are trying to leaf out. Everything else has been swelling buds for weeks.
  2. I think the cold is coming and there will probably at least be some SHSN with the CAA...especially hills. It could verify a few C warmer and still be nasty and have flakes/graupel in the air. We wish it was wrong, but it is what it is.
  3. Saw this out and about yesterday...felt a little oxymoronic. I got a chuckle out of it.
  4. It's not like last spring was much better. 5. Can’t wait for Late Spring from mid May onward. Maybe Early Summer after that beginning in late June?
  6. Feels weird to wake up to a low of 40° with clear skies.
  7. April 2020...right on par with a winter month for a prolonged period without warmth.
  8. The last month at BOS that had a monthly high temp colder than what they had for April 2020 (62°) was January 2019 (59°).
  9. 58/53 with some sun Muggiest feel since January.
  10. A few flakes in the Berks. Exciting.
  11. Up to an inch of rain. 48° This is a dogshit May pattern. Can’t spin it. We’ll take sun and 55-65 days, but it’s pulling teeth to get even 1 decent 70° day.
  12. Yeah...I have no idea if he’s on here, but the “we” post was suspicious. He probably lurks. Either that or he got the “we” thing from Kevin on twitter. He seems kinda sarcastic and pessimistic like us so it wouldn’t surprise me if he peeks in here from time to time and even gets a laugh.
  13. Wish he would just post. He seems like he’d fit in with us well.
  14. What are you using for posts? Basic round PT posts rated for ground contact? My 4x4 posts in my run I used concrete and went down 24”. So I have 6ft AGL with the posts.
  15. "we green" He should just post and not lurk.
  16. Post trough on 7/22/11 definitely felt better than pre-trough on 7/21/11.
  17. Are they getting up to the feeders or bottom feeding?
  18. Nice. We have a pileated around as I hear him daily. My orioles haven’t arrived yet, but based on your photo I should probably consider putting the oranges out.
