  1. Ditty getting his hawk tuah today
  2. Yeah I don’t see the point in keeping a tree alive with chemicals to delay the inevitable. The species is screwed unless we do some GMO’ing or selective breeding with resistant trees.
  3. 76/72 here so a little swampy, but I can see a clearing line approaching.
  4. Nice. Kinda hard to see the leaves there, but maybe those are some in the pic near the top right? That sassafras definitely stands out though. We have quite a few elm growing by the stream in the back woods that are tall and leggy. I’m not sure if growing in the water has helped them? I have another in my backyard that’s probably 40ft tall that a porcupine has been tearing up and another sapling growing in my tiger lily bed that a deer ate up. I’m trying to root a few of the semi hardened off cuttings that the porky left fallen on the ground.
  5. The air took quite a turn here overnight.
  6. Catch them in a jar and just let them go outside. Jfc
  7. Lol…looks like just a regular parson spider.
  8. Leaf pics? Is there a big stump adjacent or nearby? There’s a lot of chinese/american hybrids around including dunstan.
  9. You’re finally catching back up.
  10. Yup. I’ll take it. Just wish it wasn’t so cold and raw and that it could happen not on the weekend.
  11. 62.9° Rain It’s been a steady rain all afternoon. 0.25” and counting and only a high of 64°. Terrible for 6/29.
  12. 48° No thanks, this sucks. Looks like the 27° on MWN may be a new record.
  13. An extra strong push of CAA is definitely blowing through right now.
  14. 4.19” here going back to April. Horrible. Need some rain soon.
  15. 0.00” Not even a drop.
  16. More 40oz steaks and fewer 40oz beers
  17. Definitely a chilly morning. Only about +2 on the min.
  18. I can just picture Scoot at Funspot with a hundred screaming kids running around. That place is great birth control.
  19. You timed that badly. It was the deepest of deep summer until Fri.
