  1. MWN is currently the warmest in the state with +14°. Meanwhile -20° at HIE. Heavy, heavy inversion.
  2. Weeniest run yet for here. Not buying it though. Reverse dong for Tol.
  3. Looks more NE near the sfc and veering to the E/ENE up to H85. I do expect a local min, but at least the euro is more favorable.
  4. Could be some bust potential north of the Pike in WNE up through this area. Some modeling blows its load over NJ and S CT before redeveloping for ENE. Will be interesting to see how it shakes out. Either way it’s probably a decent, but nbd, storm for this area. Probably a 6-10” deal with an outside shot for a little more. Good luck to those OKX zones...it’s been awhile for down there.
  5. Alex, BML, and HIE sporting the -20° now. Looks like Maine wins with a couple of -25s. Island Pond with a -24° as well. Tamarack finally got his -10s for the season.
  6. HIE and BML pushing -20°. Just a hair below 0° here at -0.5° so far. My 6” soil is down to 30° That’s the coldest since late Jan 07 I believe. It’s the first time we’ve had below zero temps with patchy cover in awhile.
  7. Yeah you'll do well. It may get a little downslopey here off of the Ossipees when get into the NErly flow low level lift.
  8. I used it a few times in marginal situations when it’s almost go-time because the model determines it’s own ratios/totals. The key is to make sure it has the synoptics ironed out first.
  9. Looks like we still have some synoptics to iron out before getting too crazy about the deets.
  10. Pretty good LLJ with this for eastern parts of the region. There’s enough of a low level easterly component to get those 850 orographic lift differences to pop on the charts. So yeah...not a classic firehose, but it’s a toned down look of one. 12z NAM coming out now, but 6z has multiple things going on. The easterly upslope/downslope regions inland and then the lift near the coastal front and subby zone NW of that.
  11. Nah it was out front. I was leaning a large dog too because of the nail prints on the toes. High of 13.5°....coldest so far by a long shot.
