  1. Good question. Probably not a whole lot. I’d guess more toward 1F and higher on the mins than on the max temps. We’ll be losing a lot of those chilly 80s mins.
  2. Someday it’ll snap back at least a little the other way. This year will be part of the 91-2020 normals as well. It’ll be fun when an 85/65 day becomes BN at BDL.
  3. Nice break from the excessive heat in the extended
  4. nm...I see BOX tweeted it. A few mins after 18z as suspected.
  5. Where did he see that? They may have...especially right after 18z when there was a string of 32C obs. But if they didn't hit it in that 20 min period it may have been tough because it was mostly 31C obs after that. Based on the 5 min obs I'd guess they did....I'd put it at 80/20 odds.
  6. There aren't many things meteorologically more riveting than BDL hitting 90F in the summer...probably only dew talk and my soil temperature.
  7. Maybe if we can plant some growing grass around the ASOS we can convert 91 back to 89.
  8. Flow off the water right now...near 70° Interior or offshore flow...85-90°+
  9. There’s always a big difference down there depending on wind direction. Inland torches and the shore gets Pacific puke.
  10. The BDL 90° record chance is taking a major hit this next week.
  11. It’s an ASOS limitation. The ceilometers at most locations only report up to 12000ft. This cloud deck is above that height so the ob is officially “CLR” which is really clear below 12kft. If the overcast layer is 15kft it gets missed. So the apps don’t have enough intelligence unless the developers really went wild and tried to determine clouds based on vis sat pixels.
  12. One of the most forgettable summers up here weather wise.
  13. When you're installed from April through October there's no moisture inside for the TP to stick to you.
  14. The breeze is nice. Still damn warm but a lot more comfortable than yesterday.
