  1. That is riding the line here. NAM usually nails these H7 tongues.
  2. If this is going to trend toward slop up here let’s just ram it to YUL and dryslot as much as possible. I’m ready to start growing cranberries here.
  3. Roaring out there. Hit another 40mph on the Davis.
  4. 25.5” of pow there. 1933 was wetter though. 35” here and 2ft around Hanover.
  5. All SNE needed was for Ray to cancel his model subscription
  6. It’s so weird seeing the gfs with nukes every run and not a strung out wave 200 miles offshore.
  7. You need hobbies other than snow. Especially since you don’t get any.
  8. Either way at least we have another 1-2”+ of liquid coming.
  9. A lot of cross model support for it now. Ugh.
  10. Get a couple of good melt days after that snow bomb and the eclipse chasers will be swallowed by mud.
  11. I think we’re actually good this go around. There’s a lot of standing water, but I have it diverted enough from the run to keep it from coming in. We were riding the line when I left this morning, but the bulk staying east helped. Maybe the vegetation is starting to take some water in too.
  12. They’re all model derived unlike the snow clowns. They’re ok, but they’re a product of the synoptics. At this range it’s a crapshoot. I find they tend to be overly pessimistic with the OVC and optimistic with the SKC..ie more SCT/BKN than depicted. If you’re under a storm or a big high, obviously confidence goes up. Dirty ridging, convection, mesoscale nuances, etc and the error goes up. The euro has them as well…free on weather.us
  13. Still 3-5” of wet snow, but yeah. The ground was ripe before it fell.
  14. Yeah I definitely wouldn’t worry too much about those maps until you get inside 5 days. Even less if there isn’t a major synoptic system.
  15. 36.7 At least you guys have a warm rain
  16. Thankfully the NAM busted. Looks like the back edge of the heaviest is pushing through W NH now. Only 0.71” so far with maybe another quarter inch or so to go.
  17. Definitely garbage weather
