  1. MEX is 23-24-26 at BML Sat-Mon. CON is 33-31-33. Will be close to a freeze here.
  2. If you like radiating and a short growing season HIE is for you though.
  3. Another beautiful sunset with the big red disc.
  4. Spotty color here too. I'm not ready to write off the foliage season up here. The forest floor around here can tolerate the minor droughts we get. Lawns are a different story. These numerous 30s should help the foliage out as well.
  5. Yeah Dave Epstein is an avid gardener and has an above average affinity for precip and drought conditions. If it's somewhat dry you usually hear about it from his Twitter first. That's where DIT's joking all started.
  6. Here to dryslot have been the big losers. Not even a tenth in SW ME.
  7. Looks like the driest for CON is 0.21" in Sep 1914. They're sitting at 0.19" MTD right now.
  8. Short POR there which has been fairly wet.
  9. 37.6° will do it. Another smoky sunrise with just the red/orange disc.
  10. 40.7 May end up colder than yesterday

  12. Opening windows down south while we start closing them.
  13. May 31, 2010 was more similar to this. There was less haze than what we had today though...you could see more blue in the midday sky.
  14. Yeah there’s been some smaller ones. The end of June into early July of 02 saw many large fires in Quebec province. Eventually some plumes made it our way.
  15. July 2002 is the last one I remember similar to this, but that had more smoke in the low levels.
  16. 00z MOS max temps for today aren't happening

  18. Still stuck at 58.9° because of the smoke.
  19. It looked like the Japanese flag up here this morning with the mostly red sun around 645am and white/grey haze aloft.
  20. I’m more worried about keeping the house warm vs cool after the equinox. But to each his own.
