I woke up this morning shivering and teeth chattering. Got out of bed with a lot of aches and checked my temp...100F. Went to work anyway since I know it's just an immune response to the vax. Can't raise my right arm above my head either. Other than that, we good. lol

At least the euro torches on Wed and Fri with the brief door in between. The GFS is just terrible....days and days of E flow.

The numbers look about right Tue-Thu for the lower interior. Obviously with elevation you can knock a few degrees off of that for yby.

A lot of that is because we’ve been ahead of climo. Normally we’re just coming out of mud season in the interior so we’re about a month ahead. When MOS is thinking our temps should be lower because of pack and wet ground we’ve actually been bone dry with some early growth. The dryness maximizes our heating and mixing potential.

Spent a lot of the afternoon below freezing with +SHSN. Even had some accums on the black Truxedo on the back of my truck even with it sitting in the sun.

Multiple whiteouts in the past hour. Awesome snow growth too...big dendritic aggregates and not the wet type. Just huge feathers clumped together. It’s mostly melting on contact though. Dropped down to 31.5° at the height of it. More wintry day than half of the days in actual winter.

The only thing that would tempt me was if I was a long hauler since the vax is improving symptoms in some of those people.

I'm sure we did....the first half of that month sucked. On that snowy morning we had a burst that dropped it to 29F with +SN and some drifting. I've never felt anything like that in May before. Usually it's just a 33F paste with lighter winds.

I get my 2nd pfizer this afternoon. If I feel like crap at least it’s on a Friday and not the weekend.

MWN down to 0° this morning. Close to the record low of -3°. So this is about as bad as it gets for this time of year.
