  1. Excuse me sir, but this is the New England subforum. Please keep these posts in the western subforum.
  2. Is that how they do haikus in philly? Was that in AJ Brown’s book?
  3. Lots of triggered peeps this morning. Hate to see it.
  4. Probably safe from that. May be another breezy cold shot with little radiational cooling. Probably 15-20/0 type days. If you want a reliable cold hardy peach look for contender.
  5. It hasn’t been that cold yet, but next week def looks legit. No records or anything, but a solid, sustained BN week.
  6. Holy hell that’s a trainwreck of a gfs run.
  7. You need to get to know Ray more
  8. The title has grown on me. It fits the month so far. Duped by a favorable longwave pattern that only delivers for the MA and SE.
  9. It’s the 1991-2020 normal. Even though the numbers are climbing I doubt the date of the coldest mean is changing that much. I would’ve figured BOS was later, but they’re 1/23 as well.
  10. Climo min avg temp here is Jan 23 so yeah, we’re about 10 days away from the halfway point.
  11. Yeah I don’t pay for that. Depth increase down there is about 2” so sure, there’s probably a handful of decent outcomes right now. Someone else can post the L maps or probs.
  12. Be careful on that pond ice. https://www.wmur.com/article/atkinson-new-hampshire-big-island-pond-likely-drowning/63402620
  13. Most of the gefs members for the 19th are brief starts as frozen that quickly turn to rain. There’s a few in there that deliver for 21-23.
