  1. I’ll keep wearing my P95. It at least keeps me from having to smell other people’s bad breath and body odor.
  2. I do need to consider getting my birds winterized though. The next step down comes this week.
  3. Good luck with that run verifying.
  4. I’m glad we have metfan and ineedsnow here to post the LR paraplegic gfs every 6hrs.
  5. Warm night here, but nothing like you other weenies had. 53.7° and damp. It’s basically been straight 50s since Thursday.
  6. 55° -DZ BR Pretty miserable day, but it really makes the burnt orange oaks pop.
  7. Lots of TS obs with mixed precip up in Minny this morning. KMSP 221453Z 03010KT 5SM VCTS -SN BKN046 OVC060CB 01/M02 A3015 RMK AO2 LTG DSNT E AND W SLP219 RAE11PLB07E49SNB11E34B43 VCTS W MOV NE P0003 60003 T00111017 55007=
  8. Finally some sun. Up to 55F off of a low of 47.7F. Wish we had the SNE dews.
  9. How would I explain this event to the wife?
  10. 0.17” since midnight. A real drenching drizzle/-RA under the GYX beam.
  11. MSP has had accumulating snow in late September and early October before...as recently as 2.5” in 10/12/2009. This will be the most for so early though. 1.7” on 9/26 is lol though.
  12. October 4 in Albany is more impressive than October 20 in Minneapolis. https://www.weather.gov/media/aly/Past_Events/1987/Frank.pdf
  13. If it was 30° and 1/4SM +SN on August 31st it would start sticking then too. MWN has had accums in July. Technically the solar radiation is higher up there than at lower els since there’s 6000ft less of atmosphere to scatter it.
  14. I burn with a UV index of 2 and I can’t even muster a hint of red this time of year. The twin cities got nearly 30” in Halloween of 1991. How quickly they forget. Although he was probably watching Saturday morning cartoons back then.
