INL was at least -41F which is a new record. Coldest for so late in the season since 1973. Only 3 other airmasses have brought -40s there this late in the season in their period of record.
Gotta wonder what pivotal has for vertical levels though. If the warm layer is between 850 and 700 and they have no data in between they’ll be estimating snow further north than reality.
Classic wintry pattern for CAD land up here. The more junk in the trunk in SNE the better up here. Plus we can start sneaking in some DSD days post CAD. Lookin good.
