The snow maps seem a little overboard imo. I'm looking in NE MA and it's still rain on the v15 at 39hr with 2m around 40F. Then it's snow at 42hr with 3hr QPF of 0.30-0.40" but a 6hr snow of 3-4". So it's taking that entire 3hr period as 10:1 snow when really it's starting as rain, transitioning, and then falling as snow onto initially warm/wet ground. You have to be more careful with the clowns than usual with the transitioning ptype. It looks impactful for the commute regardless, but I'd definitely shave some inches off of those Pivotal maps in spots.

Ugh...GFS has me back in play for a couple too. I tend to believe the sharp N cutoff from the high press like the NAM twins have.

When people post the NAM here 12k is usually the default. I’d say it’s 80/20 12k vs 3k.

D&C were racist a-holes. Minihane was a POS as well. Pretty sure Dale and Danielle were forced out and didn't exactly have plans to leave. I like Fauria and Merloni on my ride home, but could do without Ordway. I like Keefe as well, but I'm not a Gresh fan. I would've rather had Keefe and Hart.

That was a few hours in the evening. Last 5/9 was all day wintry during the day. May 02 was just a quick inch in the morning too.

This oriole was perturbed trying to eat his orange in the snow. I remember it being below freezing with wind during the mid afternoon that day with frequent squalls. That’s probably the latest truly wintry day I can remember experiencing.

Glad these runs are starting to miss up here. I don’t need to waste anymore heat in melting snow. There’s still 6” of glacier to get rid of.

I had 2.2”.

Nice door next Friday on the gfs too. Borderline SWFE frozen precip up here into ME.

My ground is wet/frozen and I still have 6" of glacier to melt. I have no worries here, but I can understand some of the concern further south.

I'd assume they'd want to keep the sites spaced out like you alluded to. Maybe FMH would be a good spot...they're manned at the coast guard air station already.

Any plan to relocate the site? Maybe do them at BOX?

One more day of winter and then it's speedos and tiki huts.
