  1. We’ve made up ground the last 2 weekends, but still about 3-5” BN on the year here. CON is a little under 2” BN now after yesterday.
  2. That happened to me with a liberty apple tree in one of those big October rain/wind storms a few years ago. There was nothing left to the root ball. I ended up ditching it, but it was dormant so it may have survived as a bare root.
  3. Those ORH numbers from the early 20th century were from the previous lower elevation site...not exactly a good station to "thread" in with the current ORH.
  4. I laugh trying to imagine us getting a record coldest July like that…pulling 67/38 type COC days out here. lol…seems like climo from the last glacial maximum.
  5. Over half of the country top 5. And it’s not west vs east either. Straight across from the whole west coast, along the canadian border, and into our region. Hadley flexing his muscles.
  6. Getting crushed well up into your state. Finished with 1.84” here.
  7. Turning into a nice event for the Mainers that really needed it.
  8. Getting bright on the horizon. 1.81 including yesterday. Maybe a couple more hundredths before it’s done. Will check the Stratus in a bit. Nothing epic up here and far from a jack, but another good drink regardless.
  9. An inch per day. I can’t even water that much before killing the well.
  10. Getting Robert Krafted. Band made it up here as the back edge creeps in.
  11. Does it all evaporate before it soaks in? 80° dews?
  12. 58° +SHRA Looks pretty soupy in SE MA with those 70s dews. Those areas will be primed for a bit of wind. 10z HRRR gets a decent amount of rain up into the Lakes Region.
  13. Rain shield gaining lat, but not losing any long yet. 9z HRRR briefly made it into here.
  14. I’m surprised there are any trees left standing in CT after all of the wx events and gypsies.
  15. More like dying convection. Kinda feeling wagons south with tomorrow morning. Maybe your longitude helps.
  16. My chickens have been training and preparing for this day.
  17. Of course this post was the kiss of death for it.
