Definitely seems like white flies. I have little green aphids out front on my petunias that I've been blasting with the hose every evening. I'll have to hose them off this evening if I don't get +RA today to do it for me.

Yeah I have to pick those cabbage worms off of my kale every evening. They're like crack to my chickens.

Last weekend helped, but I’d like another few inches to get the deeper soil saturated. I’m tired of watering this spring and I want my trees rooting deep down and not relying on surface moisture. Even though we’ve been in a drought up here I do maintain soil moisture a bit better relative to other spots in my area being on a northern forested slope.

A little rain and thunder overnight. 0.34” in the tipper, but it reported low over the weekend. Of course it’s all fizzling out as it reaches Maine. Down to 60° after a mini backdoor went through a bit ago.

Anyone know what these little white fuzzy insects are on my chestnut tree? At first I thought mealybugs but they look more like tiny moth nymphs or something. There’s clumps of them on a half dozen branches of new growth.

6z HWRF looked more ragged over land, but cut it inland to over my head. So I should clarify I agree with you specifically about the euro keeping that core over the interior. That's unlikely. The track is more reasonable.

6z NAM, 00z Euro, and 6z RGEM all had a similar track. I agree with you that physically it doesn't seem like the occam's razor solution, but when models from different agencies and physics start to align I take a little more notice...but your thinking is still in the back of my head.
