  1. Put a decimal in there and it has a chance to verify.
  2. Are you using the navgem with curious george now?
  3. Yeah the ptype/rate maps look more pessimistic than the actual QPF.
  4. I had to do a triple take. Some -SN over the interior eventually.
  5. heh...told you a couple weeks ago it was coming. It always seems like they come in bunches down there. During those times we miss the goods every which way. We'll have our day eventually, but these are the times where we just take the L and tip our cap.
  6. Yeah I can't put down a winter with the most memorable storm of my life. Yeah, as a whole the winter has kinda sucked, but when it comes to memories, this one has a big one. Some of those other 100" winters had a lot of events, but my recollection of the individual events has faded. It's kinda how I feel about 11-12. Yeah, the winter sucked as a whole, but Oct 11 was also one of the greatest, anomalous storms of my life. I'll take 20-21 and 11-12 over 80" of numerous 6-10" events in which none of them stand out.
  7. Should be good for my 5th straight 1-2”
  8. Good run. Almost time to whip this out on the season.
  9. I'm just using the 3k nam for the example. There's a little mid level lift in the DGZ very early on but it doesn't look like a huge deal. The better growth starts to redevelop up my way. These things often change as you get closer in though.
  10. Where's that? a little over a tenth of QPF averaging 12:1. Meh. That may be generous too although I'm sure there will be bursts that tickle up closer to the DGZ. Is that Cobb method?
  11. Yeah that's the omega. Don't worry too much about the theta-e...although you can see which isentrope the fronto slope and lift runs along. Looks like about 300-310K there. Air prefers to move toward areas with similar density so when you get that WAA and sloped ascent (warm air overrunning the cold) the lift tends to slope along a specific isentrope (line of constant potential temp).
  12. This is not the way to run high ratios.
  13. Did you quadruple the output though?
  14. Here's the problem...the initial WAA pushes the DGZ pretty high up in the troposphere...around 500mb. So most of the lift in S SNE is below the DGZ.
  15. Yeah I wasn't kidding when I said I've enjoyed this winter. I got my big dog, torched it away in a week, avoided big cold, and other than yesterday we've pretty much avoided the glop events. Winter is long here and it's nice to have one that feels a little shorter. Hopefully we can start warming it up a bit in March.
  16. George please take out the trash and pick up the dog poop before you post again. Thx.
  17. I’ll be snow to sleet with this in 48hrs.
  18. Welcome to another d10 euro clown map jacking here to dryslot. Hey if it comes, it comes. But the equinox is quickly approaching and we’re starting to slip away from the deepest of winter.
  19. Good run. Man what a great winter it's been up here..pushing March at the end of the euro now. If someone told me I was going to pull nearly 3ft in a storm, barely snow the rest of the winter, and my lowest temp would be warmer than DFW I'd sign up for that in a heartbeat.
  20. Not yet...just a little tickle back as the mesolow passes. The real cold front comes through tonight after sunset.
