  1. Jodi Arias hornet right there.
  2. Hopefully it can help revitalize the city a bit. Push some of the addicts out to Rochester.
  3. Valid 12z Friday. Definite GFS cold bias getting washed away with time. Although it actually looks more impressive in the Mid Atl...trough axis trending west a bit.
  4. While we're talking rivers Franklin was recently given funding for development of New England's first whitewater park...just a bit down the road from me on the Winni River. https://www.millcitypark.com/
  5. Yeah I'm out of the loop on quality for a $120-180 budget...especially if someone is looking for a full station (temp/hum/rain/wind). You're basically in the Ambient/Acurite range.
  6. I'm done with using water heaters for the birds in the morning, bringing my fig trees in at night, and my ground being frozen.
  7. It’s not ideal...some shit days definitely thrown in. But I like seeing the 850s steadily >0C to eliminate the cold nights. If I get a raw 40F DZ day then so be it.
  8. I hadn’t looked in a couple days, but that Friday cold shot moderated quite a bit. The extended isn’t looking quite as bad either. It’s like all of the cold went poof.
  9. I think August was my first 80F that year. I had more HDD than CDD in July.
  10. I think they have fairly shallow root systems so the rocks may get too hot in the summer and damage the plants...especially if not established. And obviously the stone is not supplying anything beneficial to the plant either in terms of nutrients and moisture retention.
  11. May is more of a winter month than Mar and Apr now.
  12. Got my 1st pfizer today. I actually got a little flushed in the face and neck like I do when sipping alcohol now. Other than that fine.
  13. My road has apparently been closed all day...they’re doing something just down from me. Lisa heard a loud crack and tree fall in that direction this morning. We still have power and internet though. Maybe I’ll check it out later...probably gusting 45-50 right now if I had proper siting.
  14. I'm more surprised there's any upright trees left in Tolland.
  15. Yeah we pray. It could be a situation where we're in the NW flow, but close enough to the ULL for self destructive sunshine for a few days too.
  16. 1.26" in the tipper...1.22" in the Stratus. I'm going to "upgrade" my Davis tipper to an 8" diameter Rainwise. It just requires some wire splicing.

  18. Yeah you're on the other side of the crest. We were basically calm yesterday, but the roof is about to blow off today.
  19. S downslope? We were calm here yesterday. Roaring today on the NW downslope.
  20. Holy wind. Gunstock gusting to near 70mph. Easily 45mph at home.
  21. Yeah...I mean we take something like March 2001 up here, but usually it's wrist slitting up here to end the month between cold, rain/snow, and all of the snow melt and mud. The dry preiod with warmth and sun (before yest) was awesome for mby. Yeah, the ground is still frozen and we flooded up for a day, but usually it's 3 weeks of that crap before it melts, thaws, and soaks in.
  22. Even if it was nice I wouldn't put it above 2012 and 2010. But it's not looking too nice. But that's okay...it's still early and we got some bonus early spring warmth instead of the usual late March garbage.
  23. Put my info into the Tesla site as well and I was given no rebates/discounts from the state. Thanks NH.
  24. Today was my 1st chance to register for the vax in NH (40+ and healthy). Got a slot today in Concord on day 1. I was on the fence about getting it, but screw it...get it done and over with. I'd rather get the vax rather than get the virus and deal with any possible effects from that. The long hauler symptoms seem pretty agonizing.
